We know most guys would love to be in David Beckhams shoes but one male celeb took the sentiment – and phrase – a little too far last weekend.

The golden boots hunk was attending the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles when his feet momentarily became the focus of the sporting show.

Host Justin Timberlake couldnt resist grabbing one of his showbiz shoes and seeing if it deserved the huge sum of money Beckham was reportedly paid for joining US soccer side LA Galaxy last year.

After sitting cheekily at his feet and greeting Victoria Beckham with a coy "Hello Victoria", the pop star turned his attention to her hubby.

He joked: "May I? (lifting up Beckhams foot) I just wanna smell it. (Sniffs) Yup, smells like $250 million to me!"

Looks like fashion queen Victoria may have her work cut out trying to rival that figure. A recent article in the Daily Mail valued her footwear at a meagre (in comparison!) £150 per inch for a pair of knee high boots by Stella McCartney.
