Sarah Jessica Parker, who dragged womens love for shoes out of the closet as Sex and the Citys Carrie Bradshaw, has talked about her love for heels.

When discussing her much-loved character, Parker said: "She could probably count on a Manolo more than a man."

After playing fabulous fashionista Bradshaw for so long, she also boasted about her endurance levels, saying: "I could run a marathon in heels and wake up the next day and run another one."

Parker is not the only Sex and the City girl to harbour a fetish for glamorous footwear – Kim Cattrall has a closet measuring 44 square feet to house her impressive collection, Now Magazine reported.

Despite accusations of his cheating, Parker and her husband of 11 years, actor Matthew Broderick, recently stepped out together for a dinner date in New York.
