A footwear guru has explained how you can pair up with your soul mate by taking a quick glance at their shoes.

Singletons can find their perfect match by evaluating the qualities of their dates footwear, shoe guru Donna Sozio told canoe.ca.

Ms Sozio, author of Never Trust a Man in Alligator Loafers, said footwear-related predictions are “accurate” as “what we choose to express through our shoes is also what we choose to express in […] our romantic relationships”.

According to the shoe-ru, shoe material reflects a potential partners “outer skin”, with suede indicating sensitivity and stiffer materials suggesting that the wearer has toughened up due to bad experiences.

Women who are “low maintenance” wear comfortable shoes and take care of their feet while gold diggers “put a mans attention before themselves”, wearing agonising shoes with “lots of bangles and bobbins”, Ms Sozio said.
