Hollywood actress Brooke Shields is once again back in the spotlight after undergoing foot surgery.

Appearing on the front cover of US magazine Shape, the 43-year-old looked slim and toned, despite saying she had no exercise during her eight-week recuperation, the Daily Mail reported.

Measuring a towering six foot, Shields claimed she had confidence problems as a teenager and describes herself as a “late bloomer”.

The star, who plays Wendy Healy in Sex and the City creator Candace Bushnells latest show Lipstick Jungle, had the surgery at the end of April.

Shields, who was once married to tennis ace Andre Agassi and has two children, has undergone a previous operation and blames her foot worries on years of dancing and wearing breakneck heels.

Recently the actress appeared as a guest judge on American TV show Project Runway in a bid to seek the perfect wardrobe for her Lipstick Jungle character.
