Harry Potter star pirouettes over to ballet feature
Emma Watson has spoken about her new project entitled Ballet Shoes, a BBC production released in America this week.
Embracing the opportunity to be feminine and escape the male-dominated Harry Potter film set, Watson said working with Emilia Fox and Victoria Wood was a welcome change.
The actress, who was propelled to fame aged just nine in Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone, said the best part of filming was dressing up in corsets, wigs and 1930s style make-up.
Following in the footsteps of her famous co-star Daniel Radcliffe, Watson expressed interested in stage work, saying she would “really love to do some Shakespeare”.
However, this will have to wait until the actress completes her next project - a degree in English Literature.
Fans of the Harry Potter series kicked up a furor recently when the autumn release date of the latest film was pushed back to July next year.
