Lily Allen looks like she is in mourning after her bust-up with Elton John at the GQ Men of the Year Awards last week when she finally stepped out in public dressed completely in black.

The singers shoes were anything but sombre, however, as she chose a pair of high heeled boots with a wrap around effect for her first outing since the event.

Black tights and a layered pixie-like dress accompanied her eye catching footwear, the Daily Mail reported.

Allen submitted posts to Facebook stating how bad she felt since the event, saying she was “dying inside”.

However, the feisty star also commented that she refuses to apologise for drinking the free champagne and declared “Im 23 – it was an awards ceremony,” on her other blog on her MySpace page.

Meanwhile, the singer may not be too happy to learn that Elton John has pulled plans to collaborate with her, according to recent comments he made to the Daily Star on Sunday.
