Eastenders actor Scott Maslen has finally walked down the aisle.

However, unlike his cocky character in the much-loved soap, Jack Branning, Maslen became teary-eyed when he saw his fiancé in her wedding dress.

Estelle Rubio, the actors long-term girlfriend, wore an ivory jewel-encrusted gown complete with gentle ruffles at the base.

Joking after his emotional display, Maslen said: “I really held it together, didn’t I?”

Taking place in a stately home, the wedding ceremony was attended by 150 people, including the soaps long-standing Barbara Windsor, Patsy Palmer and Samantha Janus.

Wearing a sleeveless purple dress for the occasion, Janus was chosen to be the brides matron of honour.

Maslen moved over to the popular Beeb soap last year after playing DC Phil Hunter in ITV police drama The Bill.
