New photo stills from US soap Desperate Housewives are sure to kick up a storm of attention.

Featuring Nicollette Sheridan balancing over a car in a dainty pair of leopard print stilettos and a matching swimsuit, the new series, as well as the glamorous actress, looks set to turn heads.

The 44-year-old blonde actress said that after her character was kicked off the famous street during the last series, her imminent return would be “hot”.

Producer of the show Marc Cherry said the new series is set five years into the future as he wanted to get back to the “simplicity of season one”.

He commented: “Its our way of washing away the soap. Season five will open five years down the road and theres a big new mystery.”

After she recently split from her fiance, singer Michael Bolton, there have been rumours that the pair have reunited after Sheridan was seen wearing her engagement ring once again.
