Accessories, including high heeled shoes, can help a girl with her exercise regime, it has been claimed.

As accessories are all about size at the moment – big bags, high heels and chunky belts – women can use these items to do some extra body toning and training, said a spokesperson for the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

Sammy Margo, a chartered physiotherapist, explained that despite treating people regularly for high heel mishaps, women can turn the situation around and gain benefits from the shoes, reported the Coventry Telegraph.

The representative claimed that heels allow your body “to go through its full range of movement”, but added that they should be worn in moderation.

She also suggested that women could fit their heels into a chic oversized bag while they briskly walk to work in a pair of comfortable flats.
