It seems Lily Allen keeps getting one up on her own shoe collection by stepping out in increasingly towering heels as the weeks go by.

In town to attend Paris Fashion Week, the singer emerged from a lunch date in a pair of four-inch Yves St Laurent high heels, her highest pair yet.

She teamed the wobbly black heels with a 50s style black and white checked dress, opaque black tights and oversized sunglasses.

Maybe the star was considering expanding her already-impressive designer wardrobe, as she made stops in Prada, Chanel and Goyard.

Allen follows in the steps of fellow songstress Kylie Minogue, who was spotted on more than one occasion last week strutting around Paris in some in-vogue towering heels.
