It appears Lindsay Lohan is another celebrity embracing the current trend for height when it comes to footwear.

Wearing a pair of electric pink ankle boots, the actress-turned singer strutted proudly around at Saks Fifth Avenues 10th annual charity event held in New Yorks Rockefeller Plaza.

The pair looked strikingly similar to those worn by Lily Allen last month as she donned a succession of eye-catching heels while stepping out to record her new album last month.

Lohan decided to match her ankle boots with a pair of tight leather trousers, a floral pixilated, loose shirt and draping, Indian style necklace.

Following in her big sisters footsteps, the 12-year-old Ali Lohan has also recorded a Christmas-themed album, entitled Lohan Holiday.

Lindsay Lohans latest release, Spirit in the Dark, is set to be released later this year and may be dedicated to her current partner, Samantha Ronson.
