New invention gives high heels added strength
A miniscule new invention has been setting the tongues of shoe-lovers wagging of late.
The Solemates High Heelers, invented in the US, have been helping women stand tall in the face of muddy gardens and uneven walkways.
Each device is a small plastic extension slotted onto the end of a high heel in order to command more area and therefore prevent thin heels from sinking into soft ground.
They can also stop heel-wearers becoming stuck between gaps in paving and cobblestones, it has been claimed.
Both transparent and black High Heelers are available and they may interest those who have an outdoor event, such as a wedding or garden party, on the horizon.
Earlier this year, another invention eased the pain of high heel fans as the Rollasole hit vending machines in UK clubs.
The roll-up, disposable flat shoes are designed to offer respite to tired feet at the end of a long evening.
