Clown juggles with sorrow as thieves steal his size 28s
A clown has been left with the smile wiped off his face after thieves stole his much-loved pair of size 28 shoes.
Bobo the clown, who has recently been performing in Norfolk, said the two foot-long footwear went astray just before he intended to have them mended.
The bumper shoes, originally from Italy, were a gift passed down to Bobo from his grandfather, who was also a circus performer, reported eveningnews24.co.uk.
“Im actually really upset about it all. Ive been clowning since I was five and when I reached 16, my grandfather decided it was time I inherited his shoes,” explained the 34-year old performer.
He also said the loss is affecting his shows, claiming that the clogs he is wearing instead “look amateur” and that “people expect to see big shoes when they see a clown”.
Jonathan Ford of the Norfolk Constabulary commented: “A pair of size 28 clown boots was reported as missing. Anyone who knows of their current whereabouts should contact the police.”
Another shoe-stealing mystery was solved in August the US when the resident of a small town in Indiana spotted a dog running away with peoples footwear and lining them up outside the local fire station.
