Cattrall: Get out your Choos for Sex and City sequel
Kim Cattrall has confirmed what many Sex and the City fans have been hoping - that there will be a sequel to the shoe-friendly film.
The actress let the cat out of the bag while appearing on the Paul OGrady Show, it emerged.
When asked whether there would be a sequel by guest presenter ex-Spice Girl Mel B, Cattrall answered: “Yes there will.”
Shooting of the original film was delayed due to disputes over pay. Sarah Jessica Parker, aka protagonist Carrie Bradshaw, always received more for the shows than her three co-stars, it was reported.
“The offer just wasnt acceptable. I felt we should all make lots of money - not just one of us,” explained Cattrall.
However, the shoe-crazy foursome booted aside their differences and went on to make the hugely successful film.
Cattrall received other good news this week when she was awarded the accolade of ultimate icon at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards for her role as man-mad Samantha Jones.
