After being booted off the Beebs popular Strictly Come Dancing show last weekend, supermodel Jodie Kidd has decided to kick off her dancing shoes and jump on her horse instead.

The celeb is planning to indulge in her passion for horse riding at this Sundays Express Eventing Cup in Cardiff, Wales, related tltnews.net.

Kidd, an enthusiastic horsewoman and polo player, will go head-to-head with socialite and former it girl Tara Palmer-Tomkinson during the event.

Despite being kicked off the show eleven rounds in, Kidd can use the fitness gained from all that waltzing for horse-ing around this weekend.

According to Hello! magazine, Palmer-Tomkinson sees her friend as formidable competition and has recruited the help of equestrian professionals to train for the cup on Sunday.

Strictly Come Dancing attracted a flurry of press attention this week as 64 year-old news reader John Sergeant quit the show, stating that he feared a win would be "a joke too far".
