Victoria Beckham perfect for high heel study
Researchers planning to conduct an extensive study on the effects of high heeled shoes have said that Victoria Beckham could make the perfect case for their investigation.
As the celeb attempts to get one up on her fellow fashion-conscious peers with some gravity-defying and sometimes risky-looking footwear, scientists at Manchesters Metropolitan University have stated that she would be an ideal candidate to study.
The university department is recruiting women to look at how high heels may or may not have affected their leg muscles, feet and stance in general.
Some methods they will use include ultrasound and magnetic resonance, reported the Press Association.
PhD student and co-leader of the study Robert Csapo commented that Victoria could be "an interesting candidate" as "she wears high heels a lot".
Some of the footwear the former Spice Girls singer has been snapped in recently include a pair of heelless PVC boots, some needle-thin high heels and a pair of shoes adorned with long gold spikes.
