Musician Chris Martin has revealed his thoughts on his wife Gwyneth Paltrows glamorous revamped image.

Speaking to music magazine Q, Martin stated that after spending all day in a recording studio "with eight men" he is simply happy "to see someone in a skirt".

The Coldplay front man added: "I approve of shoes in all shapes and sizes…I think most girls like to pull out the high heels sometimes, right?"

Gwyneth has turned her fair share of heads of late after appearing at premieres in chic clothes and glamorous shoes.

She is a particular advocate of killer heels, having been snapped in several pairs this year.

Maybe Chris Martin will follow in the footsteps of fellow musician Keith Urban, who this week pulled on some stylish heeled boots to walk alongside his towering wife, Nicole Kidman.
