Operatic starlet Sarah Brightman dazzled her fans at a recent show in New Yorks Madison Square Gardens.

The 48-year-old stepped out onstage dressed in lace before tearing it off to reveal a more futuristic pair of thigh-high glittery boots, complete with matching miniskirt, relayed the Telegraph.

During an interview with the newspaper shortly after the show, the star, ex-wife of musical writer Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, wore some over-the-knee black boots to match her modest black dress.

Brightmans wardrobe has so far provided a dramatic accompaniment to her operatic back-catalogue as she embarks on her current tour.

Last week, the singer wore thigh-high laced pink boots to match her ruffled full-bodied dress during a Princess and the Pea themed show.
