Actress Mischa Barton is among the first to step out in the new fertility statue heels designed by Dior.

The unusual shoe features a heel shaped like a classical female statue and is the brainchild of John Galliano working in collaboration with label Christian Dior.

Barton, one of the first celebs to be spotted in the shoes, twinned the look with a yellow off-the-shoulder tribal dress complete with beads and fringes.

She was putting in an appearance at the Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2009 show in Paris.

Another famous American attendee of the fashion show included burlesque artist and former wife of Marilyn Manson Dita Von Teese.

Other unique footwear that has been launched this month is Jimmy Choos take on the Hunter Wellington boot. The resilient boots feature a gold buckle, a leopard-print inner and a black crocodile-effect on the outside.
