Footwear Plus Magazine has revealed the recipient of its prestigious Company of the Year Award for 2008.

Skechers picked up the magazines gong for the best footwear firm of 2008, the third time it has been awarded the accolade during the last four years.

Based on the quality of footwear design, the award is voted for by retailers across the US on an annual basis.

Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers, stated that the organisation is "honoured and humbled" to receive the recognition.

"This award serves as an acknowledgement for the achievement of our company and the hard work of our talented team," he continued.
