Amanda Holden shrugged off the cold temperatures and marched on in some pink heels for the auditions of the Britains Got Talent show this week.

The auditions, due to be held at Cardiffs New Theatre, came as swathes of snow and winter weather engulfed the UK.

However, the hardy hostess pulled on a purple sleeveless dress and some chunky fuchsia heels and marched onwards to the event, stopping to chat to fans and those waiting in the cold along the way.

As she took her place alongside fellow judges Piers Morgan and Simon Cowell, the Daily Mail quoted Holden as saying: "The show must go on. We werent going to let a bit of snow stop us."

The actress has just been cast in a new BBC comedy series entitled Big Top alongside the likes of John Thompson, Tony Robinson and Sophie Thompson.
