Paris Hilton has revealed why she loves her favourite designer shoes so much.

While filming for UK TV series Paris Hiltons British Best Friend, she admitted to candidate Laura Meakin that she is a UK size eight or nine, meaning good shoes are hard to find for the star.

"She told me she could only wear Christian Louboutin or Gucci shoes because […] they are the only ones which dont make her feet look absolutely massive," said Ms Meakin.

During the TV series, the celeb attempted to choose a new British best friend from a group of 12 hopefuls. Ms Meakin declined to say how she fared during the competition.

"But I will tell you that I have stayed in touch with Paris since filming finished," she revealed.

Though she may have large shoes to fill, Paris Hilton is meticulous when it comes to matching them with her must-have accessories.

She stepped out of her customised blue Bentley in New York last month in a pair of blue heels and a blue cardigan while carrying a matching blue handbag.
