A comfortable pair of Ugg boots may be just the thing for a trip to the park with a young child, as Hollywood mum Jessica Alba has shown.

The actress was spotted out and about with eight-month-old daughter Honor after looking glamorous in black and gold at the Oscars the night before.

However, pictures from the Daily Mail show that instead of her show-stopping award ceremony style, Jessica, 27, opted for a much more practical pair of Ugg boots during the day.

She teamed these with jeans, a long grey cardigan and some blue sunglasses as she laughed and played with Honor on the swings.

Speaking about her daughter and filming her new movie, Jessica has stated: "I love my daughter and shes going to be with me every day on the set."
