She may already be 5 ft 10 in, but that did not stop Charlize Theron donning a towering pair of Christian Dior heels at the premier of her latest film, The Burning Plain.

With their five-inch, bright red statement heel, the black Dior shoes meant the actress stood at 6 ft 3 in on the red carpet.

She teamed the sky-scraper heels with a gold lame dress which was bunched on one shoulder, the Daily Mail reports.

The tattoo of a fish, which Charlize has on her ankle, was also shown off by the snakeskin shoes, which cost £400.

However, it may be that the Hollywood sat was wearing them for free at the premiere as she is already associated with Dior.

She currently earns over £1 million a year advertising the designer labels JAdore fragrance, the newspaper states.

Another Hollywood favourite out and about in her heels recently was Jennifer Aniston, who chose some grey Louboutin shoes for a recent photo call in Paris, Entertainmentwise reported.
