Fans of classic trainers may be pleased to learn about the latest footwear from sportswear giant Adidas.

According to Retro To Go, the newest release of the Adidas Superstar Vintage is a back-to-basics return to the original version of the shoe.

It is a replica of the product first launched in 1969 which has been "loved as an all-round classic for the 40 years since", the website furthers.

The trainers come in the original Superstar colour scheme which sees blue and red brushed suede stripes added to the predominantly white shoe.

It also features a premium upper leather, a heel tab, goldleaf side panel print and the traditional shell toecap.
