One fashion designer has revealed that her love of a good shoe has led to her to wear 11 centimetre-high heels to work.

Greek-born Sophia Kokosalaki, 36, explained that for her, image is everything and therefore she tries to look her best at all times.

This means that she sometimes has to suffer for her style as she sometimes struts into work wearing some very high heels, 3 News reports.

Ms Kokosalaki told Elle magazine: "Work your heels. For me, good shoes are paramount as they can make an outfit. Ive been known to go to work in heels 11cm high – a chunky heel, though, a stiletto for work is tacky."

She also offered some advice to fashionistas, saying that it is important to look after clothes and shoes or it is a waste of money buying them.
