Fergie brightened up a plain white outfit with a very bright pair of heels in New York recently.

The Black Eyed Peas singer stepped out at the March of Dimes annual Beauty Ball in a pair of luminous orange peep-toe heels complete with thick black ankle straps.

Fergie, who married Transformers star Josh Duhamel at the beginning of the year, teamed these with a plain white, long sleeved mini dress.

However, her eye-catching shoes were not the only thing of note that evening.

The singer had also ditched her long, wavy blonde locks in favour of a much sleeker, poker-straight brunette hairstyle.

A source told USmagazine.com: "She loves it and so does Josh."

Another celebrity out and about in a stunning pair of shoes recently was Zara Phillips.

The royal wore a sky-scraper pair of shoe-boots from Gwen Stefanis L.A.M.B. range to totter around the Cheltenham Festival last week.
