Many celebrities appear to look polished and preened at all times, however one American reality TV star has revealed that this is not always the case for her as she also wears Converse.

Olivia Palermo, who appears in The City, a spin-off of popular TV show The Hills, claimed that she only wears Diane Von Furstenberg when she goes to work in the designers office every day.

However, speaking on American show WPIX recently, she revealed that she is not always so dressed up and can occasionally be seen in a pair of Converse trainers and spandex.

It seems as thought the popular trainers are a favourite among many celebrities at the moment, with Madonna selecting a pair to go with a schoolgirl outfit she recently wore to a fancy dress party.

Meanwhile, Fearne Cotton was also sporting a pair of Converse before her recent climb up Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Comic Relief.
