X Factor star Ruth Lorenzo went straight for a pair of Ugg boots on a recent shopping trip in Glasgow, it has been reported.

According to the Daily Record, the Spanish singer was after a pair of Ugg Cardigan boots while out splashing the cash with some of her fellow performers in Braehead.

She was also kind enough to buy fellow X Factor contestant Rachel Hylton a pair of cosy Uggs.

Paula Strange, manageress of designer shop Gravity, said: "Ruth bought a green pair of size six and a half Ugg Cardigan boots for Rachel, but couldnt find any pink ones in a size eight for Alexandra.

The singers were in Scotland for two sell-out dates performing at Glasgows SECC.

It would seem as though Ruth is not the only one who loves Ugg Cardigan boots, as My Fashion Life recently described them as being "the definition of comfort".
