She may be a rich and famous actress known for stepping out in a pair of Chanel shoes, but Keira Knightley has revealed that she has found a new way to curb her obsession with designer footwear.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star has previously admitted that she does have something of an addiction when it comes to buying shoes.

However, she has grown out of this habit and has turned to renting fancy footwear she likes the look of.

"I think when I was very young and I suddenly started earning a bit of money and I could actually afford to buy shoes, I got very excited and bought a lot. I mean a lot." she said.

Now Keira is given a pair to wear for a day and returns them in the evening.

The actress, who has been with boyfriend Rupert Friend for three years, has previously stated that a man must have good taste in shoes for her to find him attractive.
