When it comes to comfort and style, a pair of Clarks shoes may be the answer, according to one website.

Discussing the issue, Democratandchronical.com, states that women are forever on a quest to find a pair of shoes which are practical yet also look good.

Speaking to the website, Cindy Rosato explains that she has black leather Clarks loafers with flat heels to wear when she is heading to work appointments and wants to be comfortable.

She also has 20 pairs or Birkenstocks in varying colours, ranging from papaya to lime green.

Jack Levine, a family owner of Shoe Concepts in Brighton, agreed with the notion that women are constantly on the quest for the perfect pair of shoes.

"It used to be either pretty or comfortable," he explained, before adding: "They dont want to give up femininity, but they want comfort."
