She is known for her glamorous and immaculate style but it would seem as though even Dita von Teese realised that super-high designer heels were not the right choice of footwear for a music festival.

She looked perfectly preened and pouting in bright red lipstick and a Moschino Cheap and Chic red and white patterned dress as she strolled around in the sun at the Coachella festival in the US recently.

However, instead of her usual glamorous heels, Dita opted for a pair of beige wedge sandals which looked more like something usually seen on the feet of women beyond her years.

With a leaf shape detail on the front and sling-back heel, the wedges were considerably different from the 39-year-old burlesque dancers usual style.

Another celebrity spotted in a more casual shoe recently was Sarah Jessica Parker, who donned a pair of green wellington boots to walk her son to school in the rain earlier this month, the Daily Mail reported.
