Adidas basketball trainers get modern makeover
Basketball players, or simply fans of classic trainer designs, may be pleased to hear about the latest reissue from Adidas.
The Adidas Americana Low, which is originally a 70s shoe, has been reissued and updated for modern fans, according to Retro To Go.
After becoming the official trainer of the American Basketball Association more than 30 years ago, the trainer is now a stylish accessory worn by many to complete an outfit.
To bring it bang-up-to-date, Adidas have reissued the Americana Low in a blue, white and red finish with a synthetic upper. It also features a suede toeguard and white sole.
It seems as thought the sports brand has been busy reinventing some old classics of late, which may be down to the fact it is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
Adidas Originals Superstar 80s trainers are being introduced with Invistas Cordura fabric to mark the occasion.
