Sophie Dahl has revealed that at the weekend, she likes nothing better than putting on a pair of Converse trainers and walking to the shop to buy the Sunday papers.

Writing for the Telegraph, the model has revealed that her life is a far cry from the party lifestyle and business of living in New York.

Instead, she describes her perfect weekend as being a relaxing time spent with her finace Jamie Cullum and cooking good food.

Sophie informs that on Sunday her day begins with a lie-in.

“Ill head off to my local newsagent to get the papers wearing my yoga trousers and Converse trainers with a big woolly coat over the top,” she continues.

Then her Converse trainers come off again and she likes going back to bed to enjoy breakfast.

Another British star with a love of Converse, it would seem, is Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint, who was spotted in a pair earlier this week, the Daily Mail reports.
