Writing for the Guardian, Emma Stibbles claims that the iconic shoe should be the first port of call for anyone looking for “fashiontrainers“.

This is because not only are they reasonably priced – costing an average of around £30 – but they are also “the hipsters shortcut to looking cool and carefree”, she continues.

Ms Stibbles states that Liv Tyler, Scarlett Johansson and Agyness Deyn are all famous faces who are fans of Converse trainers.
