Liv Tyler has admitted that although she loves clothes she does not always go for the glamorous look and still has an old pair of Converse trainers from her youth.

Speaking to the Times, the actress explained that she is often under pressure from the media to look good at all times, even when taking her son to school in the morning.

“I still have my original pair of Converse trainers from when I was a teenager somewhere in my closet,” Liv admitted.

It seems they may come in handy, as the Lord of the Rings star revealed that she finds it difficult to drive in high heels and sometimes has to take her shoes off.

“I cant drive in heels, so I always take my shoes off. Gwyneth is the best driver in heels ever! Ive seen her and I have no idea how she does it,” she added.

Sophie Dahl recently told the Telegraph that she also likes to dress down in a pair of Converse trainers at the weekend.
