Nike trainers go vintage with latest reissue
People searching for a new pair of stylish trainers is summer may be pleased to learn about the latest reissue from Nike.
The sportswear brand has given one edition of its trainers a make-over and decided to go back in time to spruce them up with the vintage treatment, Retro To Go reports.
Receiving the update are the Nike Vintage Tennis Classic trainers, which are limited edition.
The 80s-style trainer features some original detailing such as a vintage style tongue and a perforated Nike swoosh sign on the side of the shoe.
They are white with a little blue or red detailing on the heel, a yellow sole and premium upper leathers.
Collectors and fans of Nike trainers are also treated to a special vintage-style box.
In related news, Matt Powell, company analysts at SportsOne Source, recently told CNBC that the Nike trainer Air Max 2009+ is currently selling well because it is stylish as well as practical.
