Reebok trainer-lovers and technology fans may be pleased to here about the latest development from the company.

The sportswear brand has developed a new application for the iPhone which allows users to design their own trainers and then order them.

Developed with Inside Mobile, the application means that footwear fanatics can change one of three Reebok trainers to their specification – the Freestyle, the Classic Leather and the Ventilator.

Up to 23 different aspects of the trainer can then be altered with a choice of 19 different colours and four types of material.

What is more, people can show off their new Reebok trainers with their friends as the iPhones GPS feature allows them to see what others nearby have created.

Last week it was reported that Adidas is also getting in on the trainer design action, as the new mi Original facility lets trainer fans customise either the Gazelle, Stan Smith, Superstar or ZX700, Retro To Go reported.
