Kickers and Lego collaborate on childrens shoes
Kickers has teamed up with Lego to launch a new range of shoes for children later this year.
Scheduled to go on sale in October 2009, the new collection features the classic Lego brick configurations.
The brightly-coloured unisex shoes are primarily designed for boys aged between four and ten years old and will retail for £50-55.
Launched at Legoland Windsor, two of the styles depict Lego brick print, while others have the iconic bricks on velcro straps and eyelets. Children can also decorate their own footwear with their own Lego characters and bricks.
“The combination of the iconic design features of both brands makes it a really strong product that Kickers and Lego fans will love,” said Andrea Ryder, licensing and operations director at Lego, according to License Mag.
Kickers sells a range of shoes for children, including its Junior Kick Hi Core, Junior Kick Kilo Core, Junior Fabi, Junior Sump and Junior Dasha models.
