Puma teams up with shoes charity Soles4Souls
Puma and the Soles4Souls have joined forces to encourage people to donate their footwear in aid of charity.
Shoppers in the US are being asked to hand in any slightly worn shoes to Puma locations from June 15th to July 20th.
If they do so, not only will they be helping people in need across the globe, but they will also receive a 30 per cent discount off a new pair of Puma shoes.
To launch the scheme last week, the sportsbrand set up two 10-foot tall donation boxes in New Yorks Union Square for charitable types to fling their unwanted footwear into.
They also received a free pair of Soles4Souls flip-flops along with their discount.
In other Puma news, the firm is endorsing showings of the new environmental film Home, which was directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, in cultural institutions in countries such as Africa.
