Crocs are usually regarded as a comfortshoe, ideal to wear for lazing by the pool on a summer holiday.

But they have now been given a glamorous make-over and one of the new styles to be released by the footwear manufacturer now features a heel.

Although the Cyprus Crocs have a three-inch heel they bring the wearer "nothing but comfort", according to the Examiner.

There are seven colours to choose from and the website claims that they are the perfect shoe to slip into a beach bag and wear by the poolside or for walking on the sand.

"The footbed conforms to your foot for comfort and again, the rubber nubs inside the shoe help stimulate blood flow," the Examiner furthers.

Last month, Crocs fan Kim Vanlochem told Squamish Chief that she loves the practical shoes because they are "so ugly they are cute" and make a statement, whatever colour is being worn.
