A staple of many a celebrity wardrobe, it seems as though Ugg boots are here to stay among Hollywood types.

One group of actresses who are no exception to the trend are the stars of hit US show Gossip Girl.

According to Celebrity Gossip, Blake Lively, who plays Serena van der Woodsen in the show, chose a black robe and a pair of tan Ugg boots to keep her feet cosy and she wandered around the New York City set in between filming.

Meanwhile, her co-star Leighton Meester, who plays Blair Waldorf, was seen chatting to a security guard with a casual look consisting of jeans and a white and yellow top.

The shows female stars are not the only ones with impeccable fashion sense, the news provider reports, as British actor Ed Westwick teamed a pair of grey trousers with a blue striped shirt, a blue paisley tie and red suspenders.

Ed Westwick recently showed his support for K-Swiss trainers as he hosted a promotional dance-off for the brand in Bloomingdales famous New York store.
