It is well known that many trainer brands enjoy getting involved in all kinds of collaborations for their new products, as well as taking inspiration from many places.

The latest offering from Nike is no exception as the sports brand has decided to pay tribute to the much-anticipated Transformers film which has just opened at cinemas.

As yet, it has not been confirmed whether Nikes latest creation – called the Nike air Trainer III Transformers – will be released to the general public or not.

The footwear features a grey, blue, yellow and red colour scheme, with the brands famous tick logo in black.

A large autobots logo is also featured on the tongue of the shoes.

In other Nike news, the company has just released a new running shoe to the public that has been worn by the likes of top athletes such as Serena Williams.

The LunarGlide+ is the brands most advanced trainer yet, the Daily Mail reports.
