K-Swiss trainer fans may be pleased to hear one of the latest announcements from the sports brand.

The firm is releasing a new and updated version of one of its 1966 K-Space shoe, bringing it right up to date with the times, Groove Effect reports.

While the trainer retains its basic old-school appearance, it features reworked materials and construction, as well as other new elements.

“It also helps that a clean low-top white sneaker is pretty much required gear at this point,” the news provider continues.

Lovers of all things celebrity are also advised by Groove Effect to check out K-Swiss website, as it features images of many top names associated with the brand such as Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick and tennis player Anna Kournikova.

Last month, K-Swiss completed the buy-out of boot manufacturer Palladium, when it purchased the remaining 43 per cent of the company.

The deal was though to be worth five million euros (£4.22 million).
