Timberland offers new customisable shoe
Timberland has launched a new service that will allow customers to design their own shoes.
The Build Your Own Handsewn (BYOH) service allows people to personalise up to 20 components of a shoe, including the sides and tongue, eyelets, soles and stitching.
There is also a palette of 23 colours to choose from and consumers can really leave their mark by adding their own initials to the shoe in a range of fonts.
According to channelnewsasia.com, the “process is easier and much more enjoyable than youd expect” as people can choose the parts they would like to create their shoe from parts laid out on a table.
There are two iconic Timberland shoe designs to choose from when customising – the three-eye classic and two-eye boat shoes.
Last week, it was reported that the manufacturer has introduced a new range of premium boots for women, inspired by the fashions from the era of the Depression.
