One collector has revealed that although she owns over 200 pairs of shoes, Clarks remains one of her favourite brands.

Audrey Levine, a former assistant principal at a school in New York, told Footwear News on WWD.com that when she retired, she kept most of her work shoes.

This means that she had a wide range of flats, pairs with low heels and even a few towering stilettos.

Now that she is enjoying having time to herself, Ms Levine still has a passion for fancy footwear and says that she endeavours to find the perfect balance between comfort and style.

One of her favourite brands for this is Clarks, she claims.

“I walk my dog three times a day, so Im in comfortable shoes 90 per cent of the time,” Ms Levine explained.

Another fan of Clarks shoes is the Telegraph, as the publication recently stated that they are the perfect summer footwear.
