Kobe Bryant has announced that his collaboration with Nike on a new range of basketball boots will take him on a tour of Asia.

The Los Angeles Lakers star, who has been playing basketball professionally for 13 years, will begin a series of training dates on the continent on July 21st in Manila.

Having launched the Dream Season range of basketball boots with Nike earlier this month, Bryant will be completing a busy July in Chengdu on the 26th.

Other stops along the way include Singapore, Taipei, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

The Nike-hosted trip is the fourth that Bryant will have made to Asia and he revealed that he is looking forward to seeing what progress his young proteges have made.

“I liked what I saw then and Im planning to work the kids even harder to give them a better sense of the dedication and hard work it takes to be a champion,” he explained.
