Lacoste Footwear has revealed its top trainers for fashionable feet next year.

Concurring with other brand experts in recommending the classic Americana-style trend, Womens Wear Daily discovered that Lacoste believe that perf detailing, accent colours (think navy, green and black) and premium materials will perfectly complement stylish but sporty mens lifestyles in spring 10.

Speaking to the newspaper, president of Lacoste Footwear USA Gary Malamet said that white leather and canvas look set to replace the brown mens shoe business early next year.

“With the growing trend in vulcanised, Lacoste is offering higher-cut silhouettes that incorporate patent leather and patent-treated canvas,” he said.

Last month Lacoste announced a collaboration with architect Zaha Hadid to produce a new line of leather footwear – available in purple, black or navy – for both men and women.

The futuristic shoes feature an embossed design and an unusual spiral structure which fits around the leg.
