Usain Bolt helps promote Puma trainers
The Puma trainers worn by Usain Bolt in his recent record-breaking dashes have resulted in the footwear becoming increasing popular, it has been reported.
In an article for the Guardian, Julia Kollewe noted that he wore gold shoes that he removed and showed off in front of the large number of cameras.
He then swapped these trainers for a “no less eye-catching” fluorescent pair at the World Athletics Championships, she added, explaining that the footwear was designed to complement the blue running track of the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
“The Jamaican sprinter, who has attracted world acclaim after his record-breaking triumphs in the 100m and 200m last week, is turning out to be one of the best investments that Puma – the sportswear firm behind those shoes – has ever made,” she concluded.
Bolt, who is 23 years old, holds the world record for the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay – along with his teammates.
