A man who rocks a colourful pair of Adidas trainers is someone who prides himself on being well put-together, urban and cool, according to one expert.

The Sunday News was struck by some of the observations made by Donna Sozio, author of Never Trust A Man in Alligator Loafers: What His Shoes Really Say About His True Love Potential.

Ms Sozio – who teaches women how to determine their Solemate Compatibility Factor before getting married – said that even if a man pairs his trainers with a blazer, he wants girls to know that he likes to keep things casual.

“If youre interested in impressing this guy, create an atmosphere where he can be in a relationship with you, yet feel independent at the same time,” she advised.

She added that such a man tends to be a creative, independent thinker, which she cautions may mean that he will be hard to pin down.
